    AO setup and operation


    AO Supervisor

    From here you can start the WFS Arbitrator GUI, AdSec Arbitrator GUI, and WFS Hardware GUI.


    WFS HW GUI

    Controls WFS hardware: WUnit board components and flower box.

    Warning: When binning CCD, DO NOT reselect same binning. Doing so will wipe calib files!

    This is especially tricky if there has been an error when selecting a different binning. The original binning is still in effect, so DO NOT re-select it. (ex: if you're in 2x2 and try to switch to 3x3, but there was an error, do not re-select 2x2.) The camera will probably still be operating at the original binning. If for some reason it is not, switch to another binning that works, then back to your original setting.

    Pupilcheck should output pupil parameters to CCD39 viewer display. If not, stop and restart the process. To manually determine pupil parameters, run pupil check.

    AdSec GUI

    Control the DM.

    Then set up DM control. See Arcetri's guide for operating the DM.


    OSSGUI

    Interface to low level control of mirrors, swing arms, etc.
    From here, click on component, and

    IIFGUI (instrument interface gui)

    Displays current telescope information such as: authorized instrument, pointing, status of mirrors and commands sent.

    From here, authorize LBTI.
